.. and if you don't wish to skip, my short story long...
In the picturesque coastal town of Izmir, Turkey, my story as Ege, a burgeoning Computer Engineer, commenced with an unwavering curiosity about the intricate workings of the world around me. From my earliest memories, I recall engrossing conversations with my family, delving into topics spanning the vast expanse of the cosmos to the minutiae of natural phenomena. Fuelled by the wisdom of my engineer parents, I was encouraged to embrace my inquisitive nature, thus paving the way for a lifelong journey of exploration.
In those formative years, I eagerly absorbed the insights of my mother, a skilled chemical engineer, who patiently entertained my queries about the mysteries of chemistry. Simultaneously, my father's profound understanding of the Earth's history and the origins of life was a wellspring of inspiration, sparking my fascination with the epic tale of existence. Guided by my family's nurturing support, I embarked on an unconventional path, mastering the arts of reading and writing at the tender age of 2-3, allowing me to plunge into a plethora of literature that would both quench my curiosity and expand my horizons.
As my formal education took root, my burgeoning interests gradually crystallized, pointing me towards the realms that would eventually mold my career trajectory. The realms of software programming and information technology became alluring beacons, beckoning me to explore the intricacies of programming languages, algorithms, data structures, and the captivating landscapes of genetic algorithms and machine learning.
During the transitional phase between middle school and high school, I undertook my maiden voyage into the world of coding, employing C/C++ as my vessel. Though the fruits of these early coding endeavors did not revolutionize the world, they proved to be invaluable stepping stones, revealing the intricate choreography of algorithms and data structures. Amidst these explorations, the curtain lifted on Java, a language that would soon become my creative canvas. Through Java, I fashioned my inaugural end-to-end application – an achievement that solidified my commitment to a future steeped in Computer Science and programming.
Stepping into the academic arena of university life, I embarked on a journey akin to an intellectual symphony, each programming language a distinct note within the harmonious composition of my education. This voyage wasn't driven by the pursuit of mere breadth; rather, it was a dedicated endeavor to uncover the nuances of technological expression that resonated most profoundly with my intellectual being. Thus, I delved into Python, C#, Javascript, and even the cryptic realm of Julia, weaving diverse applications tailored for various platforms. Amidst this voyage, a poignant truth emerged – that passion is a multifaceted gem, capable of catching and refracting the light of inspiration in myriad ways.
Within this labyrinthine landscape of linguistic exploration, my heart revealed an unmistakable predilection for data-centric domains. Back-end development and the artistry of forging artificial intelligence models emerged as my sanctum, where each line of code bore the promise of innovation. Although the siren song of cross-platform full-stack development and front-end design beckoned, it was the allure of data's mysteries that truly captivated my spirit.
Beyond the realm of code and algorithms, my leisure hours take on the hues of a symphony of personal pursuits. Audiobooks serve as a portal to realms of imagination, while my artistic pursuits on canvas echo the colors of my inner world. The discipline of weightlifting mirrors the commitment I bring to intellectual endeavors, and the chessboard becomes an arena where strategic thinking merges with creative insight. Amid these pursuits, the composition of symphonic electronic music allows me to weave my emotions into sound, resonating with the rhythm of my soul's dialogue with the cosmos.
In times when life's symphony crescendos to overwhelming levels, the familiar embrace of a cup of coffee offers solace. Its warmth intertwines with cherished memories, a reassuring reminder of the company of loved ones. Their presence, a lodestar in the sea of experiences, keeps me anchored as I navigate the enigmatic voyage of my existence.
And thus, as Ege, I stride forward on this academic expedition, venturing through the intricate landscape of knowledge and passion, deciphering the codes of both technology and nature, and crafting my narrative on the canvas of intellectual discovery.

About Consultancy and Independent Contractorship
Dursun Software Consulting – Izmir, Turkey

Dursun Software Consulting is a sole proprietorship I have formed to provide consultation and independent contractorship services to international clients and comply with the laws in my own country. The legal presence of the company allows me to make independent contractor and software consultancy contracts with international companies and to do this in accordance with tax laws. Documents for the services I perform and the payments I receive in return are used by my accountant to manage the taxation processes within the company. The monthly full-time working wages specified in the working conditions section reflect the gross amount, and its 20% share is deducted as withholding tax, depending on Turkey's taxation laws. If you are a company that does not have a legal entity in Turkey and makes its services available abroad, you do not have any VAT liability in Turkey for the services I provide to you. However, it would be useful to check the data of the legal authorities required for VAT obligations in your home country. Many states do not include any withholding tax or VAT in agreements with independent contractors abroad. But for exceptional cases, please apply to the necessary authorities in your own country. In independent contractor agreements, I state that I do not have any authority for tax liabilities of the receiving party, that I do not provide consultancy services on such matters, and that I do not accept any responsibility for the consistency and accuracy of the taxes of the service recipient in their own country. Please contact me via the contact form at the bottom of the page for more detailed information about the services I perform and how the company processes the fees, documents and information provided to me in return.
