Summary

I am Ege, a 25-year-old Computer Engineer with additional degrees in Business Management, Advertising, and International Trade. My passion for combining technical & business knowledge led me to earn 2 Masters' degrees in Robotics Engineering & Financial Engineering, where I honed my skills in developing Trading Bots. Currently, I am pursuing my Master's degree in CS at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where I specialize in ML and have also taken lectures on topics such as ML for Trading, Knowledge Based AI, AI Ethics, and Human-AI Interaction. Moreover, I hold graduate certificates from Helsinki University and WorldQuant University in Data Science and Full-Stack with MERN.

With 5-6 years of experience in Full-Stack Web and Data Science/ML fields, I have had the opportunity to work with some of the major companies such as the OAI & IQM. I have also had the chance to work in other companies building back-end infrastructures with Flask/FastAPI. I am well-versed in languages such as Python, Java, and Javascript, and have experience with React, Node, Express, and MongoDB, although most of my experience has been with relational databases such as PostgreSQL. I am proficient in web techs such as HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and have had experience in data analysis and ML frameworks such as pandas, numpy, scikit, tensorflow, and keras. I am also skilled in writing RESTful APIs primarily with Python and have some experience with Node/Express. My experience also includes building image detection systems in my own startup, where I focused on oncologic decision support tools for breast cancer. I have implemented AWS services and 3rd party frameworks primarily for backend services such as email and SMS sending, notifications, secret management, authentication, and storage.

I am available for working remotely as an independent contractor through B2B agreements as I am able to file my own taxes and other legal documents in my country.

As a result of my diverse education and experience, I am able to communicate effectively between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ideally, my goal is to find a position that requires knowledge in quantitative data analysis fields. With my strong background in computer science, engineering, business, and data analysis, I am confident that I can make a valuable contribution to organizations in these fields.
